My Name: Joshua Farr/Hurricane
Char Name: Rinus Solakov
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Place of Birth: Daggarech
Faction: Zygbari
Role: Political Reformist
Weapons of Choice: Blazer Pistols
Biography: Every since he was a boy, being raised in the middle-class of
Zygbar, Rinus was interested politically. At age 13 he gave a speech
that inadvertently caused a minor insurrection. He was taken by the
Zybari secret police, but convinced them of his innocence, and assured
that had no intention of disturbing the peace. Miraculously, he was
allowed to live, and he was taken under the wing of a foreign relations
diplomat who recognized his potential. Heavily indoctrinating Rinus with
Zygbari propaganda, the boy became a powerful and helpful figure to the
Zygbari Dictatorship.
However, while he was perusing the private library of his patron,
Dr. Nekariokov, he discovered an untitled book. From it, he learned of
the propaganda techniques that he had fallen prey to, and the history
and plan of Zygbari dictatorship. Before the truth of him being used
sunk in, he discovered another (highly illegal) book; the Fall and
Decline of The Roman Empire. This being an ancient old earth book, he
consumed it eagerly. By that time he had discovered the true nature of
the Zygbari government, and revolution sprang up in his heart. He
founded a secret revolutionary group, which is currently underground,
and being run in Rinus's stead. Rinus is subtly (and within the highly
restrictive laws) attempting to push the Zybari government into a
republic system. Shortly thereafter he married the daughter of a fellow
politician (who belonged to the said society).
Personality: He cares a great deal for the Zygbari people, and fights to
defend their rights, however, he is a very fiery and passionate person,
and does not take betrayal lightly. His good opinion, it is said: Once
lost is lost forever. Deep down he's a resilient, 'do it yourself' kind
of guy, but expresses great love and loyalty to his wife. He loves to
write, but must be careful what he does write as he could be arrested
for expressing his feelings too passionately. He is a great fan of
poetry, and will savor any and all old Earth literature. He wishes to do
to Xarkopolis to see Lucas Mars' old Earth architecture.
