Biography:
Uhm is surprisingly independent for an Achmer, and tends to place value on things most Achmer find trivial, such as aesthetics and dignity. His former "Schoolmates", after extensive psychological testing, labeled him as the Achmer equivalent of "mentally challenged"...Leading to his eventual shunning from their society. He was able to make a living as a Human Relations agent on Ogma station, due to his innate ability to counter-think humans, and recognize sarcasm, an ability which most coldly logical Achmer seem to lack. In fact, Uhm was so obsessed with learning about humans, that he refused to let any walls stand in his way of studying them, and for a time helped develop new exo-suits, more fit for operation in human structures and vessels. Many of his ideas were seen as frivolously decorative, serving little function other than being more appealing to the human eye, which the Achemr considered a waste from the get-go. Then, just as things were looking down again, Uhm met a human whom he immediately knew as his ticket to the life of excitement he so desperately craved...a man by the name of Nathaniel Kuehl.

Personality: As mentioned, Uhm is very social for an Achmer, and feels far more comfortable around other social creatures, such as humans, than he does around his own, "boringly logical" kind. It is unknown if his unique "condition" is actually due to some sort of mental deformity, or if it has some other cause, but most people really don't care so long as the "squid-faced monster in the big robo-armor" doesn't kill them...Uhm displays many non-Achmer traits, such as his willingness to participate in violence, and sense of moral right and wrong, but has maintained his insatiable thirst for knowledge, and highly inquisitive nature. He seems no less intelligent than any other Achmer, his behavior being the only noticeable difference. Uhm is extremely loyal to those he values as friends.
