Biography: After covering the Mordark incidents, the Mars-Geltsin case a few years back, and earning her seat on the Aplo Sun News station, Karis Linde has made herself a household name when it comes to news. Born in the suburbs of the costal metropolis of Orleans to the parents of James Linde and Ashley Forrest Linde, she wasn’t really exposed to much as a child. No gangs, good family, a fantastic area to live in. After attending OSAS (Orleans School of Arts and Sciences) and achieving top 15% of her class, she was quickly accepted to attend the Red Cliff University of Communications. While majoring in Reporting and Photography, she met Daniel Grist her senior year. The two became good friends and started spending time wherever they went. The year after they graduated, the two moved to Orleans together and began to work at the Aplo Sun. A major new station famous for it’s tastes and duel-sided approaches to conflicts, a hard to come by thing in most major news stations. The two parted ways for a while when Daniel moved out for his own reasons, however they were reunited after a year of brief contact during the Mars-Geltsin case. Years passed, events rolled on, and when the Mordark incidents began occurring, she and Daniel were sent to cover it along with a few pairs of journalist. Out of the twenty that went, 7 pairs returned with stories, the other 3 groups killed in the crossfire. When they returned, she and Daniel required medical attention and she was shipped off to the Orleans Hospital of the Sacred Word, while Daniel was sent to the best Victorian hospitals they could offer. Her stories about Zygbar soldiers and their thoughts about the war were aired, beating out the rest of the teams’ stories. She started a relationship with Daniel, which fell apart after a few months, but continued to work with him. Together, they’ve covered half of the human territories and reported over 3-dozen stories.
Personality: Karis gains the respect from people around her by always rushing and accomplishing things at deadlines. She’s rather neurotic for a high-ranking journalist, anxious about a whole number of hectic and mundane things. While a big fan of books, you’ll never see her reading one due to the fact she’ll forget the details. She tends to look after the excessively open Daniel, because she knows he does the same for her.

Biography: Born in Red Cliff, Victory to Samuel Grist and Dr. Victoria Anderson Grist, Daniel grew up a good kid. He was an average student attending BHS (Barllet High School, a district outside of Red Cliff. After successfully graduating, he attended RCUC and there he met Karis. The two shared some of the same interests in life, Daniel proceeded to suggest ideas where the two could work at, together. He obviously made it clear to her that he thought that they could be an item, and she agreed. However, for years nothing came out of this stable relationship. They found an apartment in Orleans and set in their own applications for the Aplo Sun. Around this time, Daniel got into abusing drugs. He began slipping pills whenever he could get ahold of them, mainly painkillers and the overnight stimulants they gave cameramen. While still a heavy addict, the two where sent to cover the famous Mars-Geltsin case, a court case held in Zygbar. Here, Daniel received praise for his photos of Lucas Mars and this allowed him to accompany his ex-partner to Mordark. During the months they spent there, he received a shot to the leg from a Xarkon soldier. Due to this, he and his partner were sent back with half a story and another few months in a hospital. With the help of some friends, they staged some of scenes of the report for Karis while Daniel lay detoxing in a hospital bed. In the recent year, the two had established a stable relationship, but Daniel self-sabotaged it in an act of stupidity. However, the two continue working together and are still good friends.
