Klyde Honor'e

by Ian McDonald (11/30/2007)

 My Name: Ian McDonald
Char Name: Klyde Honor'e, known to some as "Dark Owl" or "Clipped Owl"
Species: Half-Sarran
Gender: male
Place of Birth: Terra Nova, in a small independent city near the Zigbar/Xarkon border named Machinique.
Faction: N/A:
Role: He is mostly a wanderer, just trying to get by, though at times it has become necessary  for him to play the role of mercenary, and is highly respected in this line of work.
Weapons of Choice: His prominent weapon is "Black Rose" the gold and silver sword he carries at his side. He found it while fleeing from machinique, but he soon found out that in a technically advanced galaxy it does not help to be fighting old school. So he found a renegade scientist running from the life he left behind in Xarkon, who (for the right price) inserted a "neural over ride sensor" or NARS in the central part of the sword. This way when human instinct fails or makes a mistake, the sword can influence the actions of it's master, to a degree.
Biography: He was born to Drist Honor'e and an unknown Sarran female, who met with a mysterious "accident" shortly after his birth. Drist, out of desperation, fled to an independent city named machinique, hoping to find refuge. However, Drist had a natural lust for power and found out that the only thing keeping him from obtaining power over the city and its Gear Priests was his freak Sarran son. So he brutally removed the silver-gray wings from Klyde's back, leaving nothing but scars and a few feathers. Learning this many years later, Klyde ran from Machinique, only to get lost in ancient ruins of an unknown species. There he found the sword that would change his fate. After updating it by the above methods, he set out on his own. To make a name for himself and to someday return to liberate Machinique.
Personality: Once cheerful and optimistic, Klyde has grown up to be dark and sarcastic. Unless there are women around. Like most men, when women are around he is suave and casual, unless running for his life. Other than that, his only known weakness is the epilepsy caused by the removal of his wings which were deeply entwined in his spinal cord.
